Chief Executive Officer
Erin R. Brown is a seasoned executive leader, executive coach, and strategist with more than 25 years of experience driving organizational transformation, operational excellence, and inclusive leadership across government, nonprofit, and private sectors. She is the CEO of R.I.S.E. Advisory Group, an executive coaching and management consulting firm based in Prince George’s County, MD, dedicated to helping mission-driven organizations unlock their full potential through resilience, strategy, and impact.
Most recently, Ms. Brown served as Director of the Office of Management Policy, Budget, and Performance at the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), where she oversaw more than 600 operational policies, enterprise-wide performance systems, and a $2.3 billion budget. She led reforms that cut 3 million hours of administrative burden, launched new accountability and safeguarding frameworks protecting over 6,000 programs worldwide, and improved service delivery for more than 80 global missions.
Erin also brings extensive management consulting experience from senior roles at Hay Group, Deloitte, BearingPoint, and IBM Global Services, where she guided federal agencies and nonprofit clients through large-scale transformations in organizational design, performance management, and process improvement.
A recognized leader in community engagement and advocacy, Erin currently serves as Eastern Region Social Action Coordinator for Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated.
She holds a B.A. in Political Science (Loyola University of New Orleans), an M.P.P. (University of Chicago), and an M.A. in Organizational Sciences (George Washington University). She is an executive coach, DiSC Certified Practitioner, and Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, with a track record of helping leaders and organizations navigate complexity with clarity and accountability to strengthen operations, empower teams, and achieve lasting impact.

My approach is grounded in self-awareness, values-based leadership, and strategic growth.
